This is a great looking Art Deco Laco in hinged edelstahl rostsicher (rustless steel) tank case with fixed lugs and chasing on the sides. Watch is German made and and mid 1930’s vintage. The Laco logo is embossed on caseback. The original dial has an even patina resulting in a pleasing champagne color. There is a small scratch on the dial which shows much more in photos than in person. Nice 1950s Vintage Swiss made Alpha 17 jewel True 24 Hour Pilot Watch with great looking and fine condition original black dial with gold tone Arabic numerals. The watch is in perfect working order. The black dial is truly stunning with original matching curved steel hands. It also has an original signed crown. The chrome plated case is in extremely well preserved and all original condition for a 65+ year old timepiece! The use of the micro rotor automatic (Polerouter) movement enabled Universal Genève to achieve a significantly thinner watch, this one piece case measures 8.85 mm thick. This watch is in excellent condition from the hands to the silvered dial, to the crystal and case. It has a personal inscription on the back dating to 1967 and reference number 225 2765. This Vostok Europe Anchar is a big watch (48 mm) yet very comfortable on an average size wrist. The crown is located at 2 0’clock which allows for the large size to be comfortable without crown digging into wrist. The black dial with yellow highlights on it and on matching unidirectional rotating bezel make this a real eye grabber.
