This is a beautiful example of a rarely seen Breitling Chrono-matic (automatic chronograph) caliber 11 with a micro-rotor, circa 1968 vintage. The eye catching reverse panda dial has a bold black, white, and orange color scheme and orange hands making it very easy to read the time. The Caliber 11 was a horological breakthrough and the first of a new generation of watches with both chronograph and automatic winding. The Breitling Chrono-Matic was first released in 1968. The cal 11 movement which uses a micro rotor on the underside of the movement, was developed by a consortium of watch manufacturers that included Breitling, Heuer, Hamilton, and Dubois Depraz. A month after the cal 11 was announced the competition (Movado/ Zenith group) revealed their auto chrono the “El Primero” The cal 11 was only produced for two years and was replaced by the cal 12, a similar but higher beat movement. The case is stainless, is signed and has the Breitling reference number 2112 on the back. Watch is on a stainless steel expansion bracelet that has been with the watch for many years and is a good fit. The iconic caliber 11 powering this watch runs flawlessly and accurately on the wrist. 3 piece all steel cushion cased Silvana Marino Chronograph reverse panda dial from the mid 1960s. It is powered by a Landeron 248 movement which starts, stops and resets just as it should. The watch runs with a strong, even beat and keeps great time. It has an awesome dark blue sunburst dial and 2 white subdials. By the overall condition of this piece, it looks like it hasn’t seen very much wrist time over the last 55 years! It is ideally sized at 37.50mm wide excluding the crown. Great looking Eterna-Matic Centenaire 61 automatic with date, freshly serviced and keeping precise time on the wrist. Watch has a 1438u 21 jewel Eterna-matic movement with serial number that dates the watch to 1965. It has a black dial and gold tone sword hands and attached dial figures. The two tone steel case has a gold bezel. Photos are magnified and show details not seen by naked eye, the case measures 35 mm across (not including crown) x 41 mm lug to lug and comes on a leather strap.

Tissot Super Navigator T12 World Time Compressor with 24 hour dial circa 1969. Watch is in good physical and mechanical condition with original dial, two signed crowns and original signed steel bracelet. The Tissot 21 jewel automatic movement works well and keeps time. Below is a translation of French manual above (from Chuck Maddox website) :
Super T-12 Navigator
Réf. 44596: Large sized diver’s watch, super-tight (Water resistance guaranteed up to 200 meters deep). This watch has 24 hours time dial, not 12, the hour hand rotates the dial every 24 hours, corresponding to the earth rotating the sun (or earth around it’s axis), the standard time is thus read from 1 to 24 hours.
Instructions:
Internal rotating bezel is actuated by means of the crown located above the date. It’s dial’s 24 divisions which corresponds to the 24 time zones. The bezel also has 24 divisions (in the lieu of a conventional watch’s 12 divisions) and as a result the hour hand makes only one turn of the dial of every 24 hours. Navigator thus gives the local hour and that of the other time zones. Example: you are in Sydney. It is 19 h. 08 and you want to know the current time in Geneva. Knowing that there is a 9 hour backwards shift between Sydney and Geneva, you adjust the internal bezel to match the local hour hand indicated. Rare and interesting 1969 era Zodiac SuperSeawolf 75 ATM diver with Zodiac 72B automatic movement and 43mm wide steel case ref 722836B. Watch has a beautiful original black dial with orange highlights, this one really pops on the wrist. It’s completely authentic and original. The bi-directional bezel turns with 120 clicks. The lug spacing fits a strap of 18mm. The watch works well and keeps good time. It has a hacking feature for setting the time. This is one of the earliest style of the many styles of the SuperSeawolf model which was introduced in late 1968. It has a screw down crown and screw down back. Slim steel cased automatic Universal Genève Polerouter Compact from the 1960s. The use of the micro rotor automatic (Polerouter) movement enabled Universal Genève to achieve a significantly thinner watch, this one piece case measures 8.85 mm thick. This watch is in excellent condition from the hands to the silvered dial, to the crystal and case. It has a personal inscription on the back dating to 1967 and reference number 225 2765.
