This steel cased Bulova Selfwinding dates to circa 1954 and appears to have never or rarely been used, it is in new old stock condition. The L4 date code for 1954 in unusually located on the movement rather than the back of case which is more common. The case is fully signed inside as is the movement and the dial, the crown is unsigned. This is a great example of late 1960’s vintage Breitling Chrono-Matic cal 11 automatic chronograph which was a real horological breakthrough and the first of a new generation of watches with both chronograph and automatic winding.
