Late 1970’s Tudor Advertisement

Tudor Prince Oysterdate “Jumbo” ref. 90800 dated by serial number to circa 1978. This is a very desirable vintage Tudor, measuring approximately 38 mm it is larger that most other models on offer from that era, hence the Jumbo nickname. Watch is in excellent cosmetic and working condition and was reported to have been serviced by previous owner in Aug of 2024. The dial is very nice, I believe that it was professionally refinished in recent years. During this era Rolex and Oyster shared many parts, the oyster case on this model was made by and signed by Rolex as is the screw down crown. The ETA automatic movement is a cal 2784 and in great working condition. The Tudor steel bracelet is tight and near mint condition. Art Deco Unicorn open face pocket watch with beautiful honeycomb dial, in gold filled case, inscribed inside “Carsteel 1925 Int. Prov. Champions” and with monogrammed initials on the back. Unicorn was a Rolex owned brand, they were not marked Rolex but one of the Rolex group of companies which has been well documented.
