This is a very hard to find 24 hour vintage pilot’s watch circa 1960’s. The hands rotate the dial only once in 24 hours, this is very different from a watch that has inner and outer tracks, one for 1 – 12 and the other for 13 – 24. Watches such as this do not come up very often and are an interesting addition to any horological collection. One of the more famous 24 hour watches is the Gylcine Airman which was popular with pilots in the 50’s and 60’s and is still in production today. This stainless steel watch uses a manual wind 17 jewels Swiss movement, it has been recently serviced and is in excellent working condition. Photos are not actual size of watch, it measures 34mm across (not including crown) x 41mm lug to lug. Watch is fit with a new leather bracelet.
