This antique silver case, wire lug ladies’ Rolex watch dates to 1915 – 1920, approximately a decade after the Rolex Watch company was founded by Hans Wilsdorf* This heritage timepiece has been fully restored, the professionally refinished dial and
sterling case are in impeccable, near mint condition. The 925 silver hinged back case is signed Rolex on the inside and is also marked “16 world’s records gold metal Geneva-Suisse” and is numbered 56106. The movement is marked Rolex 15 jewels, Swiss made, it has been serviced by our watchmaker and is in excellent working condition.
Photos are not actual size of watch, it measures 27 mm across (not including crown) x 429 mm lug to lug. Watch is fit with a leather bracelet.
*The Rolex company was founded in 1905 under the name “Wilsdorf & Davis”, the trademark “Rolex was registered in 1908 and in 1919 the company name officially became “Manufacture des Montres Rolex”
