Stunning black dial and steel 50’s vintage Rodania Geometer three registers chronograph with famed valjoux 72 manual wind movement. The Rodania signature and logo appears multiple times, inside and outside case, on movement, crown and dial. This rarely seen and highly collectable timepiece is striking in it’s similarity to the Omega Speedmaster but it appears that the Rodania was released a couple of years before the Speedmaster. The Rodania watch company was founded in 1930 and has produced many interesting timepieces before the 1970’s quartz revolution, the name has survived and the company is still active today. This timepiece is in excellent working condition and has been recently serviced. Measures 37 mm across (not including crown) x 45 mm lug to lug and is fit with a high quality alligator bracelet
