Classic IWC Schaffhausen (International Watch Co) automatic men’s dress watch in stainless steel case with original dial and signed IWC crown, circa 1967 vintage. The caliber 854 movement runs nicely and keeps accurate time and has hack feature for accurate setting. The Calibre 854 is a very high quality, in house designed and made movement that was produced by IWC from 1964 to 1976, it uses an IWC-developed eccentric cam winding system that is noted for its efficiency, durability and ease of service. This piece presents really well as the pictures show, the steel case is very nice all round, the crystal is excellent and clear, and the dial has developed a gorgeous even patina over half a century. the Photos are magnified and show details not seen by naked eye, the case measures 34.5 mm across (not including crown) x 41 mm lug to lug x 10.9 mm deep. It comes on a blue leather strap.
