This is a 60’s vintage Louvic mystery watch with 17 jewel manual wind movement. Mystery watches are so called because of their floating hour and minute markers (hands) which do not appear to be attached to the center pinion. The first mystery watches were made by LeCoultre a company that was responsible for many innovations in watchmaking, seeing the potential of this new type of watch several companies such as Louvic and Longines started producing their own mystery watches shortly after. This is an unusual example of a mystery watch in excellent working condition with square chrome case, normally the cases are round. Watch has been serviced by our watchmaker. Photos are not actual size of watch, it measures 32mm across (not including crown) x 35mm lug to lug.
