Very nice 40/50’s vintage 18K gold chronograph with register and sub seconds in an unusual up/down position instead of the more common 3 and 9 o’clock format. Watch is signed Chronographe Suisse on the dial and has Swiss 18K hallmarks on side and back of case, the inner dust cover is metal. The 18K back cover has a couple of minor dents on the side which are not very noticeable but should be noted. This watch has been serviced by our watchmaker and is in excellent working condition. The manual wind movement is a Swiss made Venus cal 171, 17 jewels. This is a large size watch for the period measuring 38mm across (not including crown) x 44mm lug to lug. Watch is fit with an older good condition but used hand stitched leather strap which will be exchanged for a new strap if requested.
