This massive omega belongs to the “Pilot” line of Omega watches but it is actually a diving watch and is marked on the back tested 200 M. This watch is sometimes referred to as a mini “Ploprof”, which is the name of the Omega professional diving watch which shares the same movement but is rated for 600 M. This type or watch was used by the British Royal Navy and was reported to have been tested by the plungers of Comex to 365 M. The brushed finish case has inclined sides, a rotating black bezel with serrated edges, and a sapphire crystal. The black dial has painted luminous baton indexes and date aperture at 3 0’clock. The date has a quick set feature. Movement is a Cal. 1002, copper-colored, 20 jewels, serial #31498032. Case Ref. # is 166.091. The dial, case and movement are fully signed. This model has a screw down waterproof crown which has the Omega logo. Watch and auto wind mechanism is in good working condition and works very well, manual winding is not possible.
