Eterna-Matic Centenaire 61 automatic with date and difficult to find original black dial. Watch was recently freshly serviced and is keeping precise time on the wrist. Watch has a 1438u 21 jewel Eterna-matic movement with serial number that dates it to 1965. The beautiful near mint black dial and gold tone sword hands and attached dial figures make this a very collectable version of this timepiece. Steel cased IWC Schaffhausen automatic dress watch from the late 1950’s. It is powered by an IWC caliber 853 which dates to late 1959 and runs beautifully, keeping great time on the wrist. The steel hands really stand out against the cream dial, which has a good vintage patina for a 66 year old timepiece.
