This is a fine quality Birks private label open face pocket watch circa 1910 in sterling silver case and with a mint porcelain dial signed “Henry Birks & Sons Limited”. Birks was Canada’s premier jeweller of the day and is sometimes referred to as being Canada’s Tiffany. The high grade 15 jewel movement is marked Birks Service, without indication of maker but it was very likely made by Longines one of Birks main suppliers. This timepiece was recently serviced and is in excellent working condition. Photos are not actual size of watch, it measures 48 mm across x 66 mm (base to top of bow).
