Omega Seamaster automatic chronometer 200m (660ft) diver’s watch*, steel with 18K gold rotating bezel. This is a cal 1111 from the late 1980’s and is sometimes referred to as the pre-Bond Seamaster.
According to the official Omega website “On July 25 1988, the Seamaster Professional 200 meters calibre 1111 took part in the IFREMER Faré mission, during which the French scientific submarine Nautile dived 4,400 meters below sea level in the mid-Atlantic to install the first link of a channel to monitor seismic shift.”
The automatic movement has been serviced by our watchmaker and is in excellent working condition. Photos are not actual size, head measures 36 x 41 mm (not including crown or crown guard) and watch fits a 19.5cm (75/8 inch) wrist (plus has diving extension). Also included is the original multilingual instruction booklet
*note: this watch should be considered to be water resistant not waterproof, to be considered waterproof it would have to be returned to Omega and have seals replaced.
