Canadian Technical Characteristics guidelines for procurement of mono pusher wristwatches and movement and suppliers list from government database.

Great looking DND mono pusher Breitling with hack seconds – Canadian Nato forces military issue circa 1969 vintage. Breitling produced these single button chronographs between 1966 and 1977 only and only for military use, they were not part of the regular production line and there was no civilian version of the watch.
Breitling assigned a special set of serial numbers* to this special issue watch and besides Canada they supplied them to Germany, USA, and Austria. Housed in stainless steel case the movement is a Valjoux cal 236 with hack feature, it has been serviced by our watchmaker and is in excellent working condition. The Nato stock number on the back of the watch indicates that this watch was produced under a 1967 contract, the Breitling serial number (1294628*) inside the case indicates actual production year is 1969. See the Canadian Government spec sheet in photo section, which describes technical characteristics of the movement. Photos are not actual size of watch, it measures 36 mm across (not including crown) x 44 mm lug to lug and is fit with a leather bracelet.
